Double the Story Time Fun!
The Library will be offering TWO special story times in April in honor of the Month of the Military Child.
Please join us Wed., April 6 at 10:30 am for a special story time and signing of the Month of the Military Child Proclamation by the Naval Station Great Lakes Executive Officer and Command Master Chief. A second story time will be presented by Fleet and Family Services on Wed., April 20 at 10:30 am. All ages are welcome!

Start Your Flea and Tick Prevention
The ground has thawed and spring weather is right around the corner, which means more outdoor time with your pets. If your dog or cat is one that loves to explore the yard, go on hikes, or spend time outside, it is time to start flea, tick, and parasite prevention, if they are not already being treated. Great Lakes Veterinary Treatment Facility is on base and can get you and your pet squared away with all the preventions needed to keep them safe!
- Eligibility: Activity duty military, reserve, retired, and family members with base access.
- Open: Mon.-Fri. for appointments and often same-day appointment availability.

Outdoor FIT PIT
The MWR FIT PIT is an outdoor fitness space located in the middle of Constitution Field. Weather permitting, it is equipped with a 10ft Conex Box that includes a wide range of fitness equipment, such as Pull-up Bars, Olympic Bars and Bumper Plates, Kettlebells, Tractor Tires, Jump Ropes, TRX Straps, Dumbbells, and Sandbags.
