Have what it takes to complete the 12 days of Fitness challenge? Grab your friends and family and join the challenge! Inspired by the classic holiday song “The 12 Days of Christmas”, MWR Fitness has put together a fun fitness challenge for you over the holiday break. Follow us each day beginning Dec. 25 on our MWR Facebook page (www.facebook.com/NavyLifeGL/) as our MWR Trainers introduce a fitness challenge of the day.
Captains Cup Basketball Season
- Season Begins: Week of Jan 16.
- Registration Deadline: Mon., Jan. 9 (submit team roster to Gym 440).
- League Meeting: Tues., Jan. 10 at 4pm in Bldg. 440.
- Roster Size: Five players per team. All teams must be comprised of a work team, a schoolhouse team, a barracks, or a command team.
- Game Times: Mon. through Wed. evenings at 5pm/6pm/7pm in Bldg. 440.

This is a free league to all base personal. This league counts towards the overall Captain's Cup events for 2023. Depending on the total number of teams upon final registration will determine the number of games and the number of game dates.
1000lb & 500lb Club
The 1000lb & 500lb Club is an exclusive weightlifting club for both male and female lifters. To become a “member” of the club, participants must complete one repetition of a squat, bench press and deadlift with a combined weight of 1000lb for males and 500lbs for females.
